Ezberro — Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

This Notice has been prepared under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK", Türkiye's Law on the Protection of Personal Data) regarding the processing of the personal data of individuals who use the Ezberro service.

3. Purpose of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of providing the service (including creating membership, session management and operating learning features such as spaced-repetition scheduling).

4. Legal Basis

Your data is processed on the legal grounds of performance of the contract (the membership/service relationship) and your explicit consent.

5. Transfer

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties. The only exception in this scope is the e-mail delivery infrastructure used solely to send verification and password-reset e-mails.

6. Retention Period

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data such as your name, e-mail and password is permanently deleted; your learning activity records may be retained anonymously in a form that cannot be matched with you.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected and to request its deletion. You can exercise these rights directly by deleting your account from your Profile page.

8. Cookies

Only strictly necessary session, CSRF and "remember me" cookies are used. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

9. Messaging

If you choose to use the social features, the messages you send to your friends are stored on our servers in order to provide the service. Your messages are not read routinely; ONLY when a user reports a conversation may the last 50 messages of the reported conversation be reviewed by an authorized person. You can block a user at any time (your friendship is removed and mutual messaging is disabled) or report an inappropriate conversation.
